I’m devastated that I don’t see a polish version yet- I’m dying to get this for my mother and I.
My parents lived through a chaotic time in China’s history, but they never really talked about it until we started playing with these cards. What a wonderful thing it was to learn new things about my parents. My mother mentioned that she really appreciated that it was the first real conversation we’ve had. Hopefully, it won’t be the last. I'm so happy to come across this game. Initially, I meant to use it so we could have Grandma talk more about her history, but I found that I was also sharing my story with my kids. Wonderful! The transliteration was great for the hindi. The questions were both fun and sentimental. There was natural conversations happening after each person’s response. This game helps people feel seen and heard. Beautiful idea! This game will be a staple at family parties.
It was so nice to sit and talk with my mom about her experiences as a little girl. My sister and I recorded her reading the questions in Thai and answering them in English. It was quite special.
