I did this with my parents for a year, one question a week on a call, and it felt like we made more progress in getting closer than potentially decades on our own. We have no outside investors, so we spend extra on what we care about: recyclable and reusable packaging, 1,200 GSM boxes, matte-laminated cards, Pantone colors, and organic pigments. My mom and dad pack every order by hand, and we regularly donate decks to nonprofits and community organizations.

My wife and I have a 16 year old son who is very intelligent but does not talk a lot. In an attempt to foster a better social emotional connection with him, we ordered the Teenagers are Human cards. So far we have only set down and used them with him once, but it was very effective at provoking thought and getting him to express himself with more than one word answers. Engaged and enjoyable conversation with our 16 year old

I purchased these to allow for better conversations between our 16 year old daughter and ourselves.She is our youngest guest and the only still living at home and she’s our least communicative. Instead of what we thought were probing questions to get her to fully engage with us, we used these questions and she was really engaged and enjoyed the discussion instead of getting defensive; honestly same for us as her parents.
