My wife and I have a 16 year old son who is very intelligent but does not talk a lot. In an attempt to foster a better social emotional connection with him, we ordered the Teenagers are Human cards. So far we have only set down and used them with him once, but it was very effective at provoking thought and getting him to express himself with more than one word answers. We truly enjoyed that time sharing with each other and can't wait to explore more! I would recommend these to any family or teachers working with the youth.

These are some Great Questions. I wish there were more questions for the Price.

As a mom with a teen on the spectrum, it can be especially difficult to get my teen to engage in conversation. Not only did my teen actually engaged in this with me, and we each learned something new. I appreciate this so much!

I purchased these to allow for better conversations between our 16 year old daughter and ourselves.She is our youngest guest and the only still living at home and she’s our least communicative. Instead of what we thought were probing questions to get her to fully engage with us, we used these questions and she was really engaged and enjoyed the discussion instead of getting defensive; honestly same for us as her parents. We didn’t feel rejected by a nonchalant answer to our own questions; by using these it opened up new opportunities for introspection and enjoyment at dinner time.
