We have incorporated the cards into dinner each night. We all take a turn picking a card and everyone answering while we eat. We have stayed talking long after we were done eating! My kids 10 and 13, love answering the questions and hearing our answers. It’s been so great! Last night we had friends over for dinner but didn’t use the cards. My kids were so disappointed! These are great, they take the mental pressure off of you when trying to start a conversation. They also get you out of your head and into the moment. Most of the questions are a wonderful springboard into a more in-depth conversation or just an example that its ok to ask the strange, silly questions too. I love keeping them in the car whenever we will be in it for more than a few minutes. Fabulous for running errands.
Age appropriate - I like that Preteens cards and questions are not clumped together with "Children" cards. This way, they feel these are actually applicable to them and they participate!
